Man arrested on suspicion of criminal damage after road signs damaged in Stewartstown

A 31-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of a criminal damage, following reports that damage had been caused to a number of road signs in the Stewartstown area last night, Wednesday, November 4.

Police received a report of an individual spray painting the signs, one of which was dual-language, at around 11.20pm.

Responding officers were able to subsequently locate and arrest a suspect and seize a number of items.

The arrested man remains in custody, assisting us with our enquiries.
