Action at Dungannon Golf Club

Aidan Kelly and Marcus McMullan topped the leaderboard in Dungannon Golf Club’s recent men’s Wednesday nine-hole competitions, with both players finishing with 18 points on their respective weeks.
There has been plenty of competitive action at Dungannon Golf Club in recent weeks, with the men’s Wednesday competitions taking place over nine holes and producing some closely contested results.
On Wednesday, October 7, Aidan Kelly took first place with an excellent score of 18 points, playing to his handicap. Harry McBride was hot on his heels, finishing runner-up with 17 points after another strong performance.
The competition continued on Wednesday, October 14, with several players recording 18 points in what proved to be a tight contest. However, it was Marcus McMullan who emerged at the top of the leaderboard, securing first place following a countback. His consistent play proved enough to separate him from the other players who finished on the same points total.
Congratulations to Aidan, Harry and Marcus on their performances across the two weeks, and well done to everyone who took part in the competitions.
A sincere word of thanks also goes to our Competitions Convenor, Donal O’Neill, for his continued work in organising these weekly events and ensuring members have plenty of opportunities to enjoy some competitive golf.
